Job summary

Shopko Optical in Duluth, MN seeks a full-time Optical Sales Associate to deliver exceptional patient and customer service during eyewear selection, ordering and dispensing. Training is provided on the job, with emphasis on assisting the Optometrist, handling cases histories, and maintaining frame inventory.

Responsibilities include analyzing eyewear needs, recommending lenses and frames, and processing prescriptions and billing information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State license as required by state.
• Shopko OCE Certification requirements and calendar modules completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service according to company and Optical Center standards.
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and color, and ensure proper measurements and prescriptions.
• Order and dispense eyewear accurately and professionally; assist with repairs and adjustments.
• Assist Optometrist with case histories and screenings.
• Maintain frame inventory and merchandising; explain promotions and lens offerings.
