Job summary

OCLI Vision is hiring a fully trained Ophthalmic Technician 2 for our East Hanover, NJ clinic. The role focuses on pre-exam workups, patient history, and diagnostic testing to support physicians in diagnosing eye conditions.

We require at least 2 years of refracting experience, strong communication, and a patient‑focused, team‑oriented approach. This is a part‑time position with a competitive hourly pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years refracting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Patient-focused, outgoing, and service-oriented.
• Flexible and comfortable with change.
• Ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Apply anesthetic, dilating, and medicated drops.
• Collect/process specimens.
• Triage urgent cases and maintain clinic flow.
• Prep rooms and assist physicians during procedures.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Follow infection‑control and confidentiality standards.
