Claris Vision (Koch Eye) is currently looking for a part-time technician to join our busy practice. This role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical and eye history from patients and document information using the EHR system
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms
• Perform screening and testing (training provided) to prepare patients for the doctor’s exam, including visual acuity, color vision testing, auto-lensometry, autorefraction, tonometry, Amsler grid, pupil evaluation, and other tests as needed
• Administer eye medications
• Assist physicians during minor surgical procedures
• Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic and surgical instruments (training provided)
• Understand and follow company policies and procedures
