Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Maintain current State RN licensure.
• Minimum of one year perioperative (PeriOp) experience or direct ophthalmic experience.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Excellent communication in English required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to adult surgical patients.
• Monitor vital signs and pain; communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Document patient status; ensure charting meets standards.
• Assist with pre-op/PACU equipment and inventory; support safety.
