Job summary

Legends Global is hiring an Operations Specialist for a part-time position at Mayo Civic Center. You will assist with moving and setting up equipment and maintaining cleanliness across facilities, ensuring safety and efficiency in daily operations.

The role requires the ability to operate heavy equipment after training, strong customer service, and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed. Sick leave benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Custodial/janitorial experience in hotels, hospitals, offices, or event facilities preferred.
• Ability to operate facility equipment (scrubbers, pallet jack, chair carts, trash compactor, cardboard baler, vacuum cleaners) after training.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Review event documents for area setups/dismantle and complete tasks as instructed.
• Coordinate equipment movement in a safe, efficient manner.
• Maintain inventory in proper storage areas.
• Operate material handling equipment as necessary.
• Clean up spills, debris, and maintain facilities.
