University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking an Adjoint Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics - Section of Emergency Medicine to provide hourly faculty coverage at Children’s Hospital Colorado and its Network of Care. This role focuses on pediatric urgent and emergency care, teaching medical students and residents, and contributing to quality and patient safety initiatives.

The position is onsite in the Colorado Springs area.

Qualifications

• Must hold MD/DO and completion of Pediatrics residency.
• Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Active Colorado Medical License.
• Active Colorado State DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage in a 24/7 Emergency care network across multiple sites, including Colorado Springs.
• Deliver pediatric urgent and emergency care, including observation medicine and sick-call coverage.
• Attend section meetings and participate in Morbidity and Mortality Conference, CME and local site meetings as appropriate.
• Maintain competencies for high quality, patient-centered urgent care of children.
