Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Southbridge, MA is seeking a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) for a part-time, 24-hour weekend-inclusive schedule. You will provide psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and counseling to patients and families, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team across care settings.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Social Work and MA LCSW licensure with 1–3 years of experience; strong communication, data skills, and a patient-centered

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work required.
• Massachusetts LCSW licensure required.
• 1–3 years of social work experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical service to patients and families through individual, family, or group work (biopsychosocial assessment, crises intervention, treatment planning).
• Identifies resources and makes referrals as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians, care coordinators, discharge planners, and other health professionals to overcome barriers to discharge or treatment.
