Job summary

UIW invites qualified candidates for a Part-Time Lecturer in Finance in the School of Professional Studies. The role focuses on teaching online and in-person courses for the 2026-2027 academic year, with assignments for one term at a time and a commitment to professional ethics in line with the UIW Mission.

Responsibilities include designing syllabi, delivering interactive lectures, developing assessments, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure curriculum standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Alternate master's with at least 18 graduate hours in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
• One year of finance teaching at the collegiate level with student evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course outlines and teach based on approved syllabi, delivering interactive lectures.
• Design and update course content as needed.
• Prepare and administer assessments for assigned courses.
• Collaborate with departmental faculty to ensure curriculum standards are met.
• Be available outside of class to assist students (1 hour per 3-hour class).
• Adhere to Faculty Handbook policies and timely record-keeping.
• Maintain respectful relationships with faculty, staff, and students.
• Participate in meetings with academic affairs and perform other duties as assigned.
