Job summary

Aurora Medical Group, part of Advocate Health, is seeking Medical Assistants or Licensed Practical Nurses for a part-time clinic role. The position supports providers, performs vital signs, prepares patients for exams, and administers vaccines in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Three days per week, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with no weekends or holidays, offers a patient-centered team environment focused on seamless, compassionate care and collaboration across clinicians.

Qualifications

• LPN or MA licensure/certifications required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 45 days unless exempt.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LPN or MA program completion or verifiable MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
