Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Oncology Clinic is seeking a part-time Infusion RN to deliver chemo and related infusions in outpatient settings. The role emphasizes patient education, clinical nursing standards, and coordination of infusion care within a dedicated oncology program.

The position requires an Iowa RN license, graduation from a professional nursing program, and ACLS certification within 6 months. Oncology-specific certifications are highly valued and training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in professional nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of Iowa.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• ONS courses: Cancer Basics and Chemotherapy Biotherapy: Fundamentals of Administration; Chemotherapy Skills Checklists.
• OCN certification preferred within 2 years and ACLS ongoing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient injections/infusions, including chemotherapy and other infusions.
• Direct and guide patient and family education.
• Maintain professional nursing standards within MercyOne North Iowa.
• Provide care for oncology/hematology, cardiac, COVID, and other outpatient infusion patients.
