Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Cancer Center is seeking a part-time IV Registered Nurse to provide outpatient infusions including chemotherapy, cardiac infusions, and related therapies. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, patient education, and collaboration with the care team.

Applicants should have an Iowa RN license and ACLS certification; oncology infusion experience is highly valued. The position offers daytime hours with no weekends or holidays and opportunities to contribute to cancer care

Qualifications

• RN license in Iowa required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Oncology or infusion nursing experience preferred.
• ONS courses or certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Administers chemotherapy and other anti-cancer drugs, cardiac infusions, and outpatient infusions.
• Provides patient education and supports safety and HIPAA compliance.
• Documents infusion procedures and patient information promptly.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to achieve patient care outcomes.
