Job summary

Casa Pacifica's CRF program in Oceanside, CA is seeking a part-time Peer Specialist to engage clients and welcome new participants on-site. You will serve on a multidisciplinary team, bringing lived experience to support recovery and independence for clients with chronic mental health needs.

Hours are 24 per week: Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. A California driver’s license, flexibility, and First Aid/CPR certification are required; on-site attendance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• First Aid/CPR certification required and must be kept current.
• California driver’s license and ability to be insured to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and orient clients, engaging prospective participants to the program.
• Leverage lived recovery experiences to aid client recovery.
• Promote recovery concepts and participate in a multidisciplinary team.
