Seacrest Southwest on Vanderbilt Beach is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented part-time on-site housekeeping/janitorial team member to clean two condominium buildings and surrounding common areas.

The role requires proactive attention to cleanliness, ability to work independently, and good communication with residents and management. Schedule around 20 hours weekly, with pay between $20 and $22 per hour.

Qualifications

Condominium on Vanderbilt Beach is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented part-time on-site housekeeping/janitorial employee to provide ongoing cleaning and upkeep of two multi-story condominium buildings and surrounding common areas.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is proactive about keeping the property clean, orderly, and well maintained.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain building lobbies, entrances, hallways and exterior breezeways
• Sweep, vacuum and mop common-area floors
• Clean stairwells, stairs and landings
• Clean elevator cabs, doors and elevator tracks
• Remove cobwebs and debris from common areas and elevator entrances
• Clean and maintain trash and recycling rooms
• Clean designated garage areas and garage doors
• Maintain pool deck, cabana and surrounding common areas
• Clean designated glass doors and common-area surfaces
• Remove litter, sand, leaves and other debris from exterior common areas
• Clean designated storage and equipment areas
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Perform periodic deeper-cleaning projects as assigned

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, condominium or hotel experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Professional and courteous when interacting with residents and guests
• Comfortable working throughout multi-story buildings and regularly using stairs
• Ability to climb and work from a step ladder
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including bending, reaching, sweeping, mopping, pushing and pulling
• Ability to recognize and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening as required by the employer

Schedule & Compensation

Approximately 20 hours per week at $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.

The specific days and daily schedule will be established with the successful candidate based on the Association's cleaning requirements.

Position Expectations

This is an on-site position serving two condominium buildings. The successful candidate will be expected to do more than simply clean assigned rooms. We are looking for someone who will regularly walk the property, notice areas that need attention, address routine cleanliness issues, and communicate maintenance or safety concerns to management.

Physical Requirements

The position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, safely navigate multiple flights of stairs, climb a step ladder, frequently bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, sweep and mop, and lift and carry supplies or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
