CMG Jacksonville Radio is seeking a Part-Time On-Air Host to deliver engaging shows and connect with local audiences, at events and on social media. The ideal candidate brings strong storytelling, a comfort in a PPM environment, and a readiness to be visible in the Jacksonville community.

The role requires strong pacing, the ability to tease content, and collaboration with the team to support ratings and revenue goals while engaging listeners across platforms.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience operating on-air and production equipment.
• Experience with audio editing software such as Adobe Audition.
• Proficiency with audio delivery and automation systems such as WideOrbit.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and events.
• Strong social media skills and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for shows with format-related and local content; write and post web and social content; deliver endorsements.
• Host regular and voice-tracked shifts as assigned.
• Collaborate with the program director to develop relatable content and support ratings goals.
• Operate the control board and edit audio segments.
• Participate in remote broadcasts, station appearances, and community events.
• Partner with sales to maximize revenue opportunities through promotions and endorsements.
