Job summary

iHeartMedia in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a part-time Board Operator to ensure broadcasts run smoothly and sound great. You will operate the broadcast console, monitor programming for quality, and coordinate with talent and traffic teams for accurate ad placement.

Ideal candidates will have experience with NexGen, Adobe Audition, and other studio tech, plus the ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with broadcast equipment and automation systems.
• Knowledge of FCC regulations and compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows.
• Monitor on-air programming for quality, timing, and FCC compliance.
• Coordinate with talent, producers, and traffic teams for smooth transitions and accurate commercial placement.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and escalate as needed.
• Record, edit, and load audio content for playback using automation systems.
• Maintain logs and documentation for regulatory and internal compliance.
• Support remote broadcasts and live events as needed.
