Job summary
CUMULUS MEDIA | Buffalo, NY is seeking a dynamic Part Time On-Air talent to deliver lifestyle headlines, entertain audiences, and engage with the local community from our state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities include hosting shows, daily production, and on-air/online presence across social media.
Must bring creativity, strong production skills, and familiarity with FCC rules. Compensation is USD 20.00 per hour with competitive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401K, paid time off,
Qualifications
- On-Air experience with successful ratings history
- Strong production skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and social networking
- Strong knowledge of FCC rules and regulations
- Socially informed and perceptive; up-to-date with local and national trends
- Demonstrated creativity on air and online
- Thrives in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Produce compelling entertainment through writing, producing, and interviewing
- Engage with callers, interview artists/guests and host live events
- Connect with listeners via phone, texting, social media, video, and web
- Participate in station programming, promotions, and sales meetings
- Assist in production and imaging of the station
- Handle emergency news/weather in show; on call for weather disasters/breaking news
