Job summary

The University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore is seeking two part-time Clinical Instructors at 0.1 FTE (one day every other week) in the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery.

Responsibilities include undergraduate and residency teaching, supervision of dental students, and patient care in the OMFS Clinic and Acute Care Clinic. DDS/DMD or equivalent, Maryland licensure, and OMFS residency training are required; anesthesia permit desirable.

Qualifications

• DDS, DMD or equivalent degree is required.
• Eligibility for licensure to practice dentistry in Maryland is required.
• Residency training in Oral Surgery/OMFS is expected.
• Exceptional candidates without formal residency may be considered.
• Anesthesia permit in Maryland is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Academic and clinical teaching at undergraduate and residency levels.
• Supervision of dental students in clinics.
• Care of patients in the OMFS and Acute Care Clinics.
