Qualifications

• DDS/DMD or equivalent degree required.
• Completion of CODA-accredited Dental Anesthesiology residency required.
• Eligibility for Maryland dental licensure required.
• Board certification by the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology (ADBA) or eligibility within five years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver general anesthesia and sedation for dental patients.
• Participate in didactic and clinical education of dental students and residents through lectures and seminars.
• Involve in departmental and institutional administrative activities.

Education

DDS/DMD or equivalent degree

CODA-accredited Dental Anesthesiology residency

Eligibility for Maryland dental licensure

ABD A board certification or eligibility within five years
