RelaDyne LLC is seeking a part-time Laboratory Technician to perform laboratory testing and oil analysis on industrial fluids, including lubricants, fuels, and coolants. The role emphasizes accurate data reporting, instrument operation, and collaboration with reliability services.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analyses on oils, coolants, fuels, and lubricants.
• Operate/maintain GC, spectrometers, ICP, hot plates and related equipment.
• Conduct TAN, fuel dilution testing and related procedures.
• Sort, log, organize, and prepare samples with accurate records.
• Review/interpret results to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Analyze results and recommend improvements for equipment reliability.
• Coordinate outsourced testing and ensure timely results.
• Assist in developing oil analysis program and sampling kits.
• Communicate with internal teams, customers, and partner labs about procedures and results.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency in lab processes.
• Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and PPE rules.
