Job summary

Rehabcentre in Creswell, OR is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the Staff OT with resident care and documentation.

You will treat residents under supervision, document accurately, maintain safety and infection control, and participate in care conferences, family communications, and training of staff.

Candidates must have an OTA credential, be licensed in Oregon, and be able to lift and assist residents as required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care software.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state; continuing education as required.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation according to facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and rehabilitation meetings as needed.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Communicate with the supervising OT to update staff and families on progress, goals, and discharge planning.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.
