Job summary

Work Skills Corporation (WSC) is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a meaningful part-time opportunity in Michigan. You will join a supportive clinical team to help individuals with disabilities build skills, increase independence, and reach personal and professional goals.

with your OT expertise, you will assess clients, develop individualized goals, and implement interventions that improve daily living, motor, cognitive, and social skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold Michigan license as an Occupational Therapist with a degree from an approved OT program.
• Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) status required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) with strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and identify strengths, challenges, and growth areas.
• Develop individualized treatment goals and intervention plans.
• Provide strategies to improve daily living, motor, cognitive, social, and functional skills.
• Recommend and train on adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
• Identify environmental modifications to promote independence at home, work, and in the community.
• Educate clients, families, caregivers, and team on treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in case reviews, quality improvement, and clinical best practices.
• Advocate for each individual's needs, choices, goals, and independence.
