Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a Master’s or equivalent program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Occupational Therapy is required.
• State of Michigan OT license or eligible to obtain licensure prior to hire.
• American Heart Association BLS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the client’s functional abilities and develop a plan of care.
• Apply and monitor the written treatment plan and administer therapy.
• Re-evaluate patient status and adjust goals as needed during treatment.
• Train patients and families in use of medical equipment and make equipment recommendations.
