Airport Plaza Spine & Wellness is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join our established, fully integrated office. The role focuses on caring for a diverse patient group with morning shifts (Mon/Wed 9am-1pm; Thu 10am-1pm; Fri 9am-1pm).

The position emphasizes compassionate care and collaborative multidisciplinary teamwork in a NJ-based clinic. The candidate must hold a valid NJ OT license and demonstrate dedication to ongoing professional development, patient education, and exemplary

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer evidence-based therapy, including exercises and manual techniques.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment options.
• Track progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR in a timely manner, complying with standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Ensure licensure and compliance with NJ OT requirements.

We are looking for a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join our already established fully integrated office to provide caring and compassionate care to a diverse group of patients. The need would be mainly for Mornings on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday (9am-1pm)

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge of neuromuscular injuries, orthopedic conditions, sports injuries and conservative/medical treatment options
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
• Critical thinking, problem solving and the ability to multi-task

Responsibilities:

• Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Treatment and Rehab: Administer effective and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual techniques and modalities to help patients recover and improve their physical function
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment options, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery
• Progress Tracking: Regularly evaluate and modify treatments plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring optimal outcomes
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records into EHR in timely manner, complying with all legal and ethical standards
• Collaboration: Work as a team and closely with multi-disciplinary healthcare team including physicians, nurses, providers and other ancillary staff in order to provide comprehensive patient care. Refer patients to Medical and other specialties
• Must have a valid Occupational Therapy License in the state of NJ
• Job Type: PART TIME; 3-4 half days ; Mon/Wed 9am-1pm; Thursday 10am-1pm and/or Fri 9am-1pm
