Airport Plaza Spine & Wellness is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist in Tampa, FL to join a multi-disciplinary team. Hours are flexible with 2-3 half days per month (10-12 hours monthly) and potential for additional hours.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care with a focus on neuromuscular and orthopedic rehab. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Florida Physical Therapy license, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and be committed to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer evidence-based therapies including exercises, manual techniques and modalities.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment options.
• Regularly evaluate progress and modify treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other staff to deliver comprehensive care.

We are looking for a Part-Time Physical Therapist to join our already established multi-disciplinary group to provide caring and compassionate care to a diverse group of patients. The days can be flexible and including 2-3 days per month (AM/PM) ; 10-12 hours monthly and additional hours are possible

Responsibilities

• Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Treatment and Rehab: Administer effective and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual techniques and modalities to help patients recover and improve their physical function
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment options, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery
• Progress Tracking: Regularly evaluate and modify treatments plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring optimal outcomes
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records into EHR in timely manner, complying with all legal and ethical standards
• Collaboration: Work as a team and closely with multi-disciplinary healthcare team including physicians, nurses, providers and other ancillary staff in order to provide comprehensive patient care. Refer patients to Medical and other specialties
