Job summary

Marklund in Elgin, IL is hiring a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to support residents and students in a clinical setting. The role offers a schedule of 9a-2p Monday through Thursday or 9a-1p Monday through Friday, with compensation at $40–$45 per hour based on qualifications and experience.

The OT will provide therapy services, participate in IPP/IEP processes, supervise OT students and COTAs, and collaborate with staff on adaptive activities and equipment.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Registered Occupational Therapist in Illinois.
• Current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with OT treatment, evaluations & IEP meetings.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct OT services for residents and students, including assessments, goals, treatment plans, and documentation.
• Perform annual IPP and IEP evaluation meetings.
• Serve as clinical instructor for OT students and supervise COTAs.
• Assist with aqua therapy and orthotics as needed.
• Provide staff training on OT topics.
• Adhere to OT principles, Marklund policies and state regulations.

Marklund is seeking a highly motivated and mission-centeredindividual for the position of Part-Time OccupationalTherapist. The hours for this position are 9a-2p Mon-Thu OR9a-1p Mon-Fri. The hourly rate for this position will be $40-$45/hr.based on qualifications and experience.This position is based out ofour Elgin facility at the Nathan Education Center.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provides and directs Occupational Therapy services toresidentsand students including assessments, goals, treatmentplans, program planning and implementation, related documentationand communication.
• Perform annual evaluation for IPP and IEP meetings
• Performs duties as clinical instructor for potential OT studentsand supervises COTAs
• Assists with aqua therapy and orthotics as needed
• Provides training and in-services to staff and caregivers onoccupational therapy related topics as needed
• Adheres to applicable principles and practices of occupationaltherapy, Marklund policies and procedures and state regulations

Experience and Skills

Licensed/Registered Occupational Therapist in Illinois

Possess current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers
