Work Skills Corporation (WSC) in Brighton, MI is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to help individuals with mental, emotional, developmental, and physical disabilities build skills and independence. You will work with a supportive clinical team to reach personal and professional goals.

Responsibilities include assessing clients, developing goals and plans, and educating families and caregivers, while maintaining compliant documentation and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Michigan-licensed Occupational Therapist with a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Registered OTR (Occupational Therapist Registered).
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a clinical team and support individuals with disabilities.

• Develop individualized treatment goals and intervention plans
• Provide therapeutic strategies to improve daily living, motor, cognitive, social, and functional skills
• Recommend and train clients on adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Help identify environmental modifications that promote independence at home, work, and in the community
• Educate clients, families, caregivers, and team members on treatment strategies
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress records
• Participate in case reviews, quality improvement, and clinical best practices
• Advocate for each individual's needs, choices, goals, and independence

Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a meaningful part-time opportunity where your expertise can truly make an impact? At Work Skills Corporation (WSC), you’ll work alongside a supportive clinical team to help individuals with mental, emotional, developmental, and physical disabilities build skills, increase independence, and reach their personal and professional goals.

What You'll Need
