Job summary

TeamHealth in Edison, New Jersey seeks a part-time OB/Gyn physician to join JFK Medical Center’s OB/Gyn hospitalist and outpatient clinic team. The role includes 24-hour in-house hospitalist shifts and occasional daytime OB/Gyn services in the residency clinic. Prenatal patients will transition to inpatient care with the hospitalist team.

The ideal candidate is board-certified with teaching enthusiasm and comfort collaborating with CNMs and residents. Competitive compensation is provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/Gyn with current, active skills across the full spectrum of OB/Gyn care.
• Enthusiastic about teaching and mentoring medical students and family medicine residents.
• Comfortable collaborating with nursing staff and certified nurse midwives.

Responsibilities

• Perform 24-hour, in-house OB/Gyn hospitalist shifts at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ.
• Provide occasional daytime full-scope OB/Gyn services in the family medicine residency clinic.
• Manage prenatal patients transitioned to inpatient hospitalist care, ED coverage, and inpatient GYN consults.
• Support CNMs and residents in the outpatient setting.
