Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a dedicated OB/Gyn physician to join our hospitalist and outpatient clinic team at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. The position features 24-hour, in-house OB/Gyn hospitalist shifts and occasional daytime full-scope OB/GYN services in JFK’s family medicine residency clinic.

Prenatal patients seen in the clinic will transfer to the hospitalist team for inpatient care, and the role requires collaboration with nursing staff and residents.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/Gyn with current licensure.
• Full-spectrum OB/Gyn skills.
• Enthusiastic about teaching medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour in-house OB/Gyn hospitalist care.
• Occasionally perform daytime full-scope OB/Gyn services in the residency clinic.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, CNMs and residents; cover ED and inpatient GYN consultations.
