Independent School District 196 is seeking a Nutrition Services Associate to support daily meal production, service, and cashiering during school hours in Rosemount, Minnesota. You will follow the food service manager’s instructions and maintain safety standards while engaging with students.

The role requires basic arithmetic, reading, and writing; lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for several hours. Serve Safe certification must be completed within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Basic arithmetic, reading and writing essential.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for 3–6 hours.
• Serve Safe course completion required within 1 year of hire.
• POS knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with food service manager's instructions on production, preparation, and service of food.
• Account for meals (reimbursement and ala carte sales).
• Clean up kitchen, serving area, cafeteria and dishroom as directed.
• Handle food safely per standards.
• Operate POS to process students through breakfast and lunch lines.
• Attend training classes and workshops; interact with students professionally.
