Job summary

Cape Girardeau Public School District is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Nutrition Services team, supporting student meals with accuracy and care. Starting wage aligns with current cafeteria rate; duties include learning serving, sanitation, operating the district's computerized cashiering program, and collaborating with students, staff and parents.

Flexible hours and occasional meetings outside regular hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to learn serving and cleaning requirements under federal guidelines and sanitation regulations.
• Must be willing to learn tasks required for standardized recipe production and sanitation and safety regulations.
• Must be willing to learn tasks required to operate the district's computerized cashiering program.
• Must have good organizational skills and willingness to work with students, staff and parents.
• Must be willing and able to attend meetings and workshops outside normal hours or school year.
