Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dependable Dietary Services Aide to support meal preparation, service, and sanitation in our Skilled Nursing community in Columbia, MO. This part-time/PRN role offers days shifts and a $15/hour pay rate.

You will assist with food prep, service, and kitchen sanitation while following dietary guidelines and health regulations. Join a team that values growth, teamwork, and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers.
• Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and professionalism; adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation for residents, visitors, and staff, including special events and activities.
• Attend and serve food during in-service or staff meetings as requested.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining sanitary conditions.
• Set and clear tables before and after meals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control practices.
• Adhere to Americare’s Mission, Vision, Hometown Hospitality, and F.A.M.I.L.Y. values.
• Support the dietary team with additional duties as assigned.
