Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Part-time schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Secures patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face-to-face interactions.
• Follows proper telephone etiquette with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Adheres to dietary restrictions and diet orders; accommodates allergies and cultural/religious preferences.
• Interacts with nursing to ensure diet prescriptions are accurate and needs are met.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Follows HACCP guidelines for food safety and distribution.
• Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports as required by policy.
