Responsibilities

• Secure patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or in person.
• Offer alternatives to menu within diet orders and respects allergies and religious/cultural preferences.
• Respond to patient needs promptly and escalate issues as needed to a supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and coordinate with nursing to meet diet prescriptions.
• Follow HIPAA policies and sanitation guidelines and HACCP where applicable.
• Complete required reports in a timely manner and perform other duties as assigned.
