Job summary

TouchPoint is hiring for part-time NUTRITION OPERATOR positions at MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw. You will secure patient meal selections and handle special requests via phone or face-to-face interactions in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Must have prior customer service experience; training is provided. Schedule includes days, nights and weekends. $15.50 per hour with opportunities to grow in a supportive Compass Group environment focused on patient health and comfort.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face-to-face interactions.
• Follows proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Offers alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet considering allergies, cultural and religious preferences.
• Responsive to patients' needs at all times; resolves concerns or reports needed assistance to supervisor.
• Complies with dietary restrictions to ensure meals meet diet order guidelines.
• Interacts with nursing to ensure diet prescriptions are accurate and food needs are met.
• Adheres to facility confidentiality and HIPAA policies.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and HACCP guidelines.
• Completes all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in policies and deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
