Eventide Sheyenne Crossings is currently seeking a Part-Time Nutrition & Culinary Cook to prepare meals for residents, following established recipes and safety standards.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED; culinary degree is preferred and knowledge of food safety is required. Responsibilities include portion control, sanitation, inventory, and ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high quality meals according to standardized recipes.
• Uses and directs accurate portion control standards.
• Organizes and plans work schedule to meet serving times.
• Maintains sanitary kitchen conditions at all times.
• Checks menus daily to verify item preparation.
• Stores leftovers properly according to food handling standards.
• Operates kitchen equipment in a safe, sanitary manner.
• Supervises dining experience to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Checks temperatures of food and documents in logs.
• Completes cleaning tasks as scheduled; keeps area safe.
