Job summary

Lund is seeking a Food Services Specialist for our Residential and Treatment Center in Burlington, VT. This part-time, in-person role works 24 hours per week at a rate of $22/hr to plan and prepare nourishing meals for clients, staff, and guests while promoting an inclusive, healthy eating environment.

You will collaborate with the Food Services Coordinator, assist with menus and catering for holidays and events, and ensure safety compliance and proper records. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience in food service delivery and record-keeping.
• Self-motivated with good organizational ability.
• Ability to interact well with staff and residents.
• Willingness to work irregular hours to cover a 24-hour facility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle large bulk food orders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients, staff, and guests.
• Assist with meal planning, safety, and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with shift supervisors and residential staff regarding kitchen needs.
