Job summary

Country Manor is seeking a part-time Nutrition Assistant to support the Culinary Services team in Brainerd, MN. You will help with food preparation, tray production, meal service, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

Shifts run 11:00am-2:00pm or 4:00pm-7:00pm, with every-other weekend and holiday rotations. You will participate in daily cleaning, cart and equipment sanitation, and assist residents during meals.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle ingredients including pork, chicken, beef, turkey, fruits and vegetables.
• Self-motivated, works well independently and as a team member.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Friendly, dependable, and enjoys working with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing – Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized.
• Kitchen maintenance – Keep the kitchen area clean and organized.
• Food preparation – Assist with daily food production and preparation.
• Serving meals – Help serve food and assist residents with dining, following sanitation and safety procedures.

Job description

The Nutrition Assistant supports the Culinary Services team by assisting with food preparation, meal service, and kitchen sanitation to ensure residents receive high-quality meals in a clean and efficient environment.

Part-Time Hours: 11:00am-2:00pm or 4:00pm-7:00pm available. These shifts include working every-other weekend and holiday.

Job Summary:

The Nutrition Assistant performs food preparation tasks as assigned, including tray production duties. The Nutrition Assistant also performs a variety of tasks, such as sweeping, scrubbing, cooler and freezer maintenance, and helps to keep the storeroom clean and orderly. Responsibilities also include daily cleaning of carts, equipment, and work areas
