Job summary

Pinecrest of Country Manor is seeking an Environmental Services Attendant to help maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for tenants, employees, and volunteers. The role blends environmental services support with light maintenance tasks and scheduling responsibilities to support daily operations.

The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities. Candidates should have experience in housekeeping, infection control, and strong English communication, with the ability to work

Qualifications

  • Experience with housekeeping and laundry duties including cleaning techniques and safe chemical use.
  • Understanding of infection control practices and proper handling of hazardous materials.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact positively with management, team members, residents, and families.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

  • Perform housekeeping duties including disinfecting, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning surfaces, emptying garbage, organizing furniture, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment while supporting Pinecrest’s Hometown Culture.
  • Properly use and maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, utility rooms, and storage spaces.
  • Report needed repairs, improvements, or safety concerns to the Environmental Services Supervisor.
  • Build positive relationships with management, team members, residents, and families by demonstrating patience, tact, and consideration.
  • Direct resident medical or personal care questions to the appropriate nursing staff.
  • Complete scheduled duties, special projects, and light maintenance tasks as assigned while tracking time spent on maintenance activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
