Job summary

Pinecrest of Country Manor in Brainerd is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support engaging activities and personalized programming for residents in our memory care community. You will help plan group and individual activities, coordinate with care staff, and contribute to a warm, respectful environment where residents thrive.

This part-time role starts mid to late October 2026 and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with older adults including those with physical, cognitive, or psychological challenges.
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused with a desire to enrich lives.
• Basic knowledge of aging and memory loss, or willingness to complete training.
• Strong verbal and written communication with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Energetic, creative, and eager to contribute ideas for engaging resident programming.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Organize and assist with group and individual resident activities.
• Assist the LEP Coordinator in developing program activities and goals for residents, based on individual needs.
• Communicate with the Home Health Aide/Nursing Assistant as needed to comply with the physical needs of each resident.
• Support Country Manor's mission, vision, values, and Hometown Culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
