Job summary

Hebrew SeniorLife seeks a part-time Nursing Supervisor to manage clinical operations on nursing floors in the absence of the DON. The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and regulatory knowledge, with the ability to adjust staffing and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities include rounds, collaboration with Nursing Operations Manager, education of staff, and participation in quality improvements. On-site work, 28 hours/week, prorated pay based on 40h/week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Massachusetts license as an R.N.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and ANA Certifications in Geriatrics and/or Nursing Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients, families, and health professionals in a respectful, caring manner.
• Make clinical rounds to ensure nursing care is provided appropriately.
• Adjust staffing and time scheduling for shifts to meet immediate needs and resolve problems.
• Prepare and maintain required records and reports.
