Job summary

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is seeking a Nursing Services Support for the Office of Student Health and Wellness (OSHW). This part-time/temporary role provides back-to-school nursing staffing support, reporting to the Executive Director of School Nursing, with about 20 hours weekly for a nine-month period.

Responsibilities include inventory management, data entry in Google Sheets, training material distribution, and handling high-volume communications.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 1 year of clerical/administrative experience.
Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Order and monitor inventory levels for nursing supplies.
Use of spreadsheets for supply inventory and distribution.
Registration and check in/out during large volume training sessions for nursing team.
Request, inventory, distribution, and reconciliation of computer equipment for nursing.
Copying, packaging, and distributing training materials.
Data entry using Google Sheets.
Ability to send a high volume of correspondence through Google Docs or Gmail.
Maintaining files and scanning documents.
Answering and directing high volume calls and/or emails.
Duties to support nursing operations.
