Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing required.
• Three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Teaching experience at the baccalaureate level preferred.
• Eligible for an unencumbered RN license in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course outlines and teach per syllabi.
• Deliver timely assessments and evaluate student performance.
• Perform administrative duties for grading.
• Collaborate with faculty to meet curriculum outcomes.
• Be available outside class to help students (1 hour per 3-hour class).
• Adhere to UIW Faculty Handbook and timely feedback.
• Maintain professional relationships with faculty, staff and students.
• Attend department meetings as requested.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
