Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing required; PhD preferred.
• Current, unencumbered Georgia nursing license or eligibility.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in clinical settings.
• Excellent communication, initiative and prudent judgment.
• Technological expertise with LMS, simulation, and online platforms; AI familiarity a plus.
• Ability to create engaging learning environments; teach evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned nursing courses (classroom, online, clinical, lab, simulation).
• Provide input to and implement course curriculum and teaching materials.
• Know your students, identify individual needs, and foster learning success.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback/remediation as needed.
• Lead clinical learning or partner with Faculty leading labs; ensure practice-readiness.
• Contribute to Chamberlain through committees, graduation, and program evaluation.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to students and new faculty.
• Engage in scholarly activities related to teaching and nursing practice.
• Maintain teaching skills through ongoing professional development.
• Follow policies related to exams, attendance, and state/ institutional requirements.
