Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College Terre Haute Campus seeks Adjunct Faculty for the School of Nursing to teach in a classroom environment or clinical site. Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis to support students in reaching their goals and to provide effective instruction within established syllabi.

Faculty must meet ASOM 7.1 nursing standards, hold ASN/PN credentials and a current Indiana RN license; masters in nursing is preferred and ongoing progress toward a degree is

Qualifications

• Adjunct faculty must meet ASOM 7.1 nursing area standards.
• Minimum of three years of RN experience.
• Current Indiana RN license in good standing.
• Majority of faculty shall hold masters in nursing.
• If holding a bachelor’s in nursing, ongoing graduate progress must be documented.

Responsibilities

• Teach in classroom or clinical settings as needed each semester.
• Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Record grades and maintain accurate student records in compliance with FERPA.
• Deliver engaging instruction and use technology to enhance learning.
