Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2+ years of nursing practice experience as an RN within the last five years is required.
• Professional Nursing licensure in the state of practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system and profession.
• Plans clinical experiences and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
• Evaluates and provides documented feedback to students on performance based on course objectives.
• Maintains current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies and expectations.
• Develops and posts written clinical assignments aligned with students' knowledge and learning needs.
• May teach didactic content under supervision of the course coordinator.
• Ensures coordination with the dean/assistant dean and course coordinator.
• Contributes to program development, implementation, and evaluation.
