Excelsior University invites applications for a Part-time Adjunct Clinical Instructor to support nursing education at Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, PA. The role focuses on guiding nursing students through clinical experiences, providing timely feedback, and ensuring access to course resources.

The instructor will supervise and evaluate students, participate in pre-/post-clinical activities in Canvas LMS, and conduct synchronous Zoom sessions as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or BSN with active enrollment toward a master’s or doctoral degree.
• Active NYS RN license.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience in varied clinical areas.
• Current clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Experience supervising nursing students or new grads.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with educational technology and video conferencing.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Complete institution-sponsored training.
• Adhere to the Excelsior University Clinical Faculty Handbook policies.
• Work 2 non-consecutive weekends per 8-week term at a clinical site.
• Remain present for the entire clinical day.
• Plan and coordinate patient assignments for each student.
• Demonstrate nursing skills and related technology.
• Complete facility training and policies.
• Engage with students in Canvas LMS and conduct synchronous Zoom sessions.
• Provide evidence-based examples and individualized feedback to students.
• Complete clinical evaluation rubrics for each student in a timely manner.
