Job summary

Excelsior University is seeking a Part-time Adjunct Clinical Instructor for Hudson, NY. The instructor will teach nursing courses, supervise student clinicals, and provide timely feedback while coordinating patient assignments and using EHR and other clinical technologies.

The role requires a Master's in nursing (or BSN with active enrollment toward a higher degree), NYS RN license, and extensive clinical experience. Weekly weekend commitments are part of the course schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required or BSN with active enrollment toward a master's/doctoral degree.
• Active NYS RN license in good standing.
• 5+ years RN experience across varied clinical areas.

Responsibilities

• Complete institution-sponsored training.
• Fulfill requirements and adhere to policies in the Faculty Handbook.
• Work 2 non-consecutive weekends during 8-week term (Fri 6 hours, Sat/Sun 12 hours).
• Be present for the full clinical day and clinical hours.
• Coordinate patient assignments to meet course objectives.
• Provide evidence-based clinical examples and individualized student feedback.
• Complete clinical evaluation rubrics for each student timely.
