Chamberlain University seeks Part Time Clinical Instructors to teach nursing students in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program across multiple specialties.

Ideal candidates hold a master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing, possess an unencumbered RN license, and have teaching or precepting experience. COVID-19 vaccination may be required to teach at partner sites. This role focuses on clinical supervision, evaluation, and remediation of students in real-world settings.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing required.
• Unencumbered nursing license (state/tr national).
• Teaching or precepting experience preferred but not required.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required to teach at certain clinical partner sites.

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system and profession.
• Plans clinical experiences for and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
• Evaluates and provides documented feedback to students based on course objectives.
• Orients and maintains current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies and expectations.
• Develops and posts written clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge and learning needs.
• Grades homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork and other written work in a timely manner.
• Keen to teach didactic content under supervision of course coordinator.
