Job summary

Chamberlain College of Nursing is seeking Part-Time Clinical Instructors to join our dynamic faculty and support students in our BSN program. We are currently accepting applications for instructors in the Community Health Nursing specialty, focusing on theory and concepts of community/public/global health and applying the nursing process to populations at risk.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required at certain clinical partner sites.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Licensed registered nurse with active license in state of practice.
Excellent judgment and initiative in clinical teaching.

Responsibilities

Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
Lead autonomous teaching assignments and plan clinical experiences with direct supervision of nursing students.
Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback aligned with course objectives.
Be available for remediation as required and stay current with policies and expectations.
Develop and post written clinical assignments aligned with students' knowledge and learning needs.
Grade homework, quizzes, tests, labs, and clinical paperwork timely.
May teach didactic content under supervision and keep the course coordinator informed.
Report to the dean or assistant dean; a course coordinator may provide direct oversight.
