Job summary

Dixie Tech in Vermont seeks a part-time Nursing Assistant instructor to work with off-campus and on-campus cohorts, delivering hands-on learning in classroom and lab settings and linking lessons to real-world nursing assistant skills.

The instructor will plan and deliver clear instruction, assess student progress, maintain safety and FERPA standards, and collaborate with faculty and high school counselors to foster student success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience required.
• 1+ year of long‑term care experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Google Suite applications.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in accordance with classroom syllabi, curriculum, planned lab experiences and lesson plans, and provide feedback to full‑time instructors.
• Develop and execute active, diverse learning experiences with hands‑on focus.
• Communicate clear objectives and defined competencies for the program and learning activities.
• Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, and assignments in a timely manner.
• Observe, evaluate, and record student performance and provide feedback; notify full‑time instructor when problems arise.
